Yin & Restorative Blend

Join Dawn for a blissful evening of yin & restorative yoga! We will begin with a yin practice to lengthen and open the body followed by restorative postures to deeply calm and decompress both the body and mind. We will end with a deep relaxation meditation that will leave you feeling renewed.

Below are descriptions of both the yin and restorative yoga practices.

Yin yoga is a meditative style of yoga in which postures are held for 3 to 7 minutes. The benefits of yin yoga include joint and connective tissue health, improved circulation, and stress reduction. Meridian lines are stimulated resulting in affects similar to acupuncture and acupressure treatments. Body, mind, and spirit come into balance providing a greater sense of well-being and peace.

Restorative Yoga is the practice of using props to support the body as the yoga postures are held for longer periods of time initiating deep relaxation of the body, mind and spirit.
